From your profile, you can easily update your personal details, access your Neighbourhood, and add additional places (e.g. your office, cottage), and more.
1. About/Bio
Include your Birthday, Location and a brief biography. Click ‘Edit’ to access.
2. Connect
Connect your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts. Follow the links to complete the connection process.
3. Verification Levels
PlaceSpeak currently offers 3 levels of verification. To add additional levels of verification click ‘Level Up’.
4. Profile Picture
You can edit it by clicking any of the ‘Edit’ buttons on your profile page.
5. My Neighbourhood - Because where we live matters.
Neighbourhoods is a community-building platform designed to help neighbours connect and engage with one another. Get to know your neighbours, discuss local issues, and discover everything happening in your community.
The map shows the location(s) of your Neighbourhood(s).
If your Neighbourhood is active, PlaceSpeak will identify the boundaries of your neighbourhood allowing you to connect privately with your neighbours.
A private neighbourhood platform - Your personal information is never shared and only those living in your neighbourhood can access your neighbourhood.
Within a Neighbourhood, you can:
- Message your Neighbours - See who else lives in your neighbourhood and send private messages to one another.
- Post on the noticeboard - Find a local babysitter, locate a lost pet, or share news and safety alerts by posting to a community notice board.
- Create and share events - Create, organize and share upcoming events such as a garage sale or block party.

6. My Places
Your home is your default place. It is possible to add other places. You can add your office, your recreational property, etc. To edit one of your Places click ‘Edit’.
