PlaceSpeak allows you to notify users based on their Notification Settings so that participants can stay up to date. This helps keep participants active and engaged throughout the consultation process. Users can choose between receiving emails, see a list of past updates by selecting Topic Updates tab in the header or viewing on the update on the PlaceSpeak Dashboard. You can choose to share updates to either or both. All published updates appear in the Topic Updates tab. We recommend checking both radio buttons when you are ready to notify followers so you reach the broadest audience of followers.

Remember to remove any legacy formatting by using the Tx tool in the tool bar and reformat using the formatting tools in the tool bar. Use the tools to upload images and add links. This is important to ensure your outgoing updates are formatted correctly.
